Outside SEO help 'can be beneficial'
Thursday, 31 July 2008Businesses unsure of what to do when it comes to search engine optimisation (SEO) may benefit from outside expertise.
This is according to advice given by E-consultancy researcher Graham Charlton, who noted that keyword optimisation is particularly important when implementing SEO strategies.
Those new to the online marketing arena may be able to get started with the help of a third-party search engine marketing agency, he said.
"If a business is just starting off and doesn't know what they're doing with search engine optimisation, it's best that they get someone to do that side of things for them," Mr Charlton remarked.
He went on to add that businesses looking to design the perfect website would do well to ensure that the user experience is as smooth as possible and that it is easy for people to find the information they are looking for.
E-consultancy's latest report on the search engine marketing sector in the UK revealed that one in six firms spend at least £50,000 a year on SEO campaigns.
